7 Days Vacation

This private vacation is a mix of cooking, history, arts, sport and tours according to your preference in the 3 most foodie regions of central Italy: Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Umbria.

You'll stay in an ancient mountain retreat  on Mt. Fumaiolo, a 4500Ft high mountain located right on the border between them.

You'll explore quaint ancient little villages and meet with local food and wine producers.

We’ll cook every afternoon  afternoon and learn how to make authentic Italian traditional Emilia-Romagna and Tuscan authentic Recipes as described in Pellegrino Artusi's 1891 Cookbook: traditional handmade pastas, roasts, sauces, vegetables and seafood. And if you don't feel like cooking just relax sipping great wine while the Chef will make dinner for you.

You'll discover and cook with regional excellences such as Pecorino di Fossa di Sogliano, 30 months aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, etc...

You'll decide the menu for the day and purchase with the Chef in the best family-run butcheries and groceries.

You'll enjoy regional Wine Tasting in a local Winery to discover the great wines of Romagna: Sangiovese, Albana, Famoso and a great Metodo Classico.

You'll enjoy Tuscany Wine Tasting to discover the Super Tuscan Wines.

You'll see the amazing art of notable local Medieval and Renaissance artists like Piero Della Francesca, Raffaellino del Colle, Santi di Tito, Perugino, Della Robbia.

You'll visit the unique Museum of herbs of Aboca in a tour through the centuries discovering the therapeutic power of herbs and story of the relationship between humans and plants through rooms of precious herbal, ancient books of herbal medicines, ancient mortars, pottery and glassware.

You'll discover the italian new trends in cuisine in Michelin starred restaurants nearby.

In the morning we’ll visit small ancient villages from Middle Ages to Renaissance where we’ll purchase the local and freshest ingredients and we’ll be back home in the early afternoon where we’ll cook and have dinner together.

Umbria (Città’ di Castello, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi)

Romagna (Rimini, Santarcangelo, Cesenatico and Ravenna)

Our packages are all-inclusive: Accommodation, cooking classes, tickets, restaurants, food/wine tastings and market and winery visit are included in the price.

We'll pick up at Cesena (1 hour train from Bologna) and Arezzo (1 hour train from Florence) Railway Stations, and we’ll be your driver for the all time.
