Mountain Retreat

Mountain Retreat

This was a little monastery built in the late 18th century. Stefano's grandfather bought and restored it in the middle 1900's. The stone oven was once used by the monk's to make bread for the local citizens. The cozy dining room has a fireplace that is used for cooking and roasting meats. The backyard has fruit trees, an herb garden and  an outdoor dining area.  The River Tevere, whose source is 1 mile away from Mount Fumaiolo, borders the property as a small babbling brook. The retreat is nestled between Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Marche.

You'll have the entire home to you and your group.  There are 4 bedrooms and a living room with a fireplace.
